Our own apps

Games

One at a time, and only when it plays right. Knack is out on Android, iOS is in development, Mau-Mau and Skat follow in that order.

Our own apps start where a classic deserves better: the games we grew up with were on the store, but behind a timer, a sign-up and a menu that led everywhere except to the table. So we build them the other way around — rules first, offline, and no more data than a round of cards needs.

Knack

Schwimmen · Schnauz · 31 · Scat · Blitz · Ride the Bus · Thirty-One · Cad · Knack. Whichever name you grew up with, it is the same game — and this is it.

Chase three cards of one suit, edge as close to 31 as you dare, and whatever you do, don’t finish last. Knock too early and you’ll kick yourself; knock too late and you’re toast. Three lives, last player standing takes it.

Solo against cheeky bots, offline. Multiplayer next to each other over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, or online with a room code. Two decks — classic French and a German cyberpunk — light and dark, adjustable rules, honest statistics.

“Quick to learn, gloriously hard to put down — just one more round turns into ten, every single time.”
